Solo | brianbaggett.net

Brian Baggett is a veteran Kansas City guitarist whose decades-long career encompasses performing, recording, composing, arranging, teaching and an extraordinary exploration of the instrument. His long-running presence at the legendary Green Lady Lounge is one celebrated chapter in that much larger musical story.
Baggett brings a jazz and rock guitarist’s energy, technical fire, and complex harmonies to the acoustic guitar. With no band behind him, he makes one guitar carry the bass lines, chords, rhythm, melody and improvised solos—transforming music from his jazz repertoire into a complete one-man ensemble.

It is part virtuoso performance, part live-arranging masterclass and a complete joy to witness: deep grooves, sophisticated harmony, fearless improvisation and flashes of the exhilarating technique of a guitarist who can genuinely shred. - Central Plains Festival 2026
